Day 2 in Sydney. This is the start of the next segment which was originally Sydney to Singapore. This is the segment that Jan and Tom elected not to do since the whole cruise is entirely different. When the alarm went off this morning I opened my eyes to see a ship sailing by right outside our balcony. A little startling, to say the least. Turns out it is the Explorer Dream and it had Asian characters on it. Feeling JUST a bit uncomfortable, we looked it up online. It is based in Shanghai and Tianjin in summer, but has been down in Australia and New Zealand since last October where it is based in winter. Whew.
